Total THC per container: 0.332 mg in the oil, 0.347 mg in the salve, against a legal ceiling of 0.4 mg from 12 November 2026. Both figures are the worst case, taking the distillate at its laboratory detection limit and the hemp seed oil at the upper figure on its certificate. Do not increase the distillate above 20.00 g per batch without recalculating.

1.1 The Whole Run

1.3 Active Concentrate

PrepDissolve the actives75 to 77 °C / 168 to 170 °F
  1. Measure the whole 1,004 mL of hemp seed oil into a jug. Pour 200 mL of it into the 400 mL beaker and set the jug aside, it goes into Stage A.
  2. Warm to 75 to 77 °C, 168 to 170 °F.
  3. Add 20.00 g CRD, lot BK-26-045. Stir until thinned and dispersed.
  4. Add the isolates one at a time, stirring each to clarity before the next. CBD 8.00 g, CBG 8.00 g, CBN 8.00 g, CBDa 4.00 g, CBGa 4.00 g.
  5. Stir until completely clear. Check with a drop on a cold glass plate.
  6. Keep the time above 70 °C under fifteen minutes. Use within the hour.

Distillate before isolates. It thins the oil and gives the crystals a better solvent.

1.5 Process

Stage AStable carrier oils65 to 70 °C / 149 to 158 °F
  1. Pour the hemp seed oil left in the jug into the 3 L beaker, then add 179 mL jojoba and 142 mL olive. Do not measure fresh hemp seed oil here.
  2. Warm to 65 to 70 °C, 149 to 158 °F, stirring gently.
Stage BActive concentrate65 to 70 °C / 149 to 158 °F
  1. Pour in the entire concentrate from 1.3.
  2. Rinse the beaker with a little of the warm batch and return it.
  3. Stir three to five minutes to even colour with no streaking.
  4. Take the beaker off the heat.
Stage COxidation sensitive oils45 to 55 °C / 113 to 131 °F
  1. Let it fall to 45 to 55 °C, 113 to 131 °F. Check the probe.
  2. Add 358 mL black seed oil. Stir until uniform.
  3. Add 53 mL sacha inchi oil. Stir until uniform.
Stage DVolatiles, cold and last35 to 40 °C / 95 to 104 °F
  1. Let it fall to 35 to 40 °C, 95 to 104 °F. Confirm on the probe.
  2. Add 10.7 mL beta caryophyllene. Stir one minute, covered between stirs.
  3. Add 4.5 mL frankincense. Stir to uniformity.
  4. No reheating after this point.
FillBottleAmbient to 30 °C / 86 °F
  1. First batch only, measure density. Tare a dry 100 mL cylinder, fill to the line, let bubbles clear, read the weight, divide by 100. Record it.
  2. Fill each bottle to 60 mL, or the equivalent weight once density is known. Near 0.96 g/mL that is about 57.5 g.
  3. Fit the pipette and cap. Minimise headspace.
  4. Label with product, formulation reference, batch number, date and net contents in millilitres.

Beeswax Salve

2.1 The Whole Run

The wax governs everything here. Beeswax sets at roughly 63 °C, 145 °F, so once the melt drops near that figure it stops pouring evenly. Every stage below sits above it, and the pour happens straight after the last addition rather than at the end of a cooling period.

Beta caryophyllene cannot go in cool in this product. In the oil it is added at 35 to 40 °C because the oil stays liquid. Here the batch is solid at that temperature, so the terpene goes in at 65 to 68 °C, 149 to 154 °F, and the batch is poured immediately afterwards. Keep the lid on the beaker between the addition and the pour.

2.3 Active Concentrate

Identical in principle to section 1.3. The only difference is that the salve is weighed, so the carrier taken for the concentrate is 184 g rather than 200 mL.

  1. Weigh the whole 1,015 g of hemp seed oil into a jug. Pour 184 g of it into the 400 mL beaker and set the jug aside, it goes into Stage A.
  2. Warm to 75 to 77 °C, 168 to 170 °F.
  3. Add 20.00 g CRD, lot BK-26-045. Stir until thinned and dispersed.
  4. Add the isolates one at a time, stirring each to clarity before the next. CBD 8.00 g, CBG 8.00 g, CBN 8.00 g, CBDa 4.00 g, CBGa 4.00 g.
  5. Stir until completely clear. Check with a drop on a cold glass plate.
  6. Keep the time above 70 °C under fifteen minutes. Use within the hour.

The 52 g between total input and filled weight is the allowance for what stays on the beaker, the stirrer and the jug. If more than about 80 g is left behind, the pour was run too cool.

2.5 Process

Stage AWax and butter melt70 to 75 °C / 158 to 167 °F
  1. Pour the hemp seed oil left in the jug into the 3 L beaker. Do not weigh fresh hemp seed oil here.
  2. Add 270 g beeswax pastilles and 450 g coconut butter.
  3. Warm to 70 to 75 °C, 158 to 167 °F, stirring slowly until the last wax flake has gone.
  4. Hold two minutes at temperature. Undissolved wax gives a gritty set.
Stage BActive concentrate70 to 75 °C / 158 to 167 °F
  1. Pour in the entire concentrate from 2.3.
  2. Rinse the beaker with a little of the warm batch and return it. Anything left in that beaker is cannabinoid you have paid for and will not be in the jars.
  3. Stir three to five minutes to even colour with no streaking.
  4. Take the beaker off the heat.
Stage COxidation sensitive oil68 to 72 °C / 154 to 162 °F
  1. Let it fall to 68 to 72 °C, 154 to 162 °F. Check the probe, not the clock.
  2. Add 54 g sacha inchi oil. Stir until uniform.

Do not let it go below 68 °C, 154 °F, at this point. You still have two operations to run before the pour.

Stage DBeta caryophyllene65 to 68 °C / 149 to 154 °F
  1. At 65 to 68 °C, 149 to 154 °F, add 10.8 g beta caryophyllene.
  2. Stir thirty seconds only, then stop. Longer stirring at this temperature drives it off.
  3. Go straight to the pour. Do not reheat.

  1. Have all thirty jars open, upright and lined up before you start. Once the pour begins it cannot pause.
  2. Transfer into the warmed jug and pour to 60 g per jar. Check every fifth jar on the scale.
  3. If the batch falls below 63 °C, 145 °F, return the beaker to the plate and bring it back to 68 °C, 154 °F. Do this at most once.
  4. Leave the lids off and let them set undisturbed at room temperature. Expect thirty to forty five minutes.
  5. Cap only when the surface is firm to a light touch. Capping warm traps condensation.
  6. Label with product, formulation reference, batch number, date and net weight in grams.

Do not put them in a refrigerator to speed the set. Fast cooling gives a grainy crystal structure in the wax and a chalky feel.

2.6 Release Checks
